  • Does my logbook servicing protect my new car warranty?

    Yes, servicing your vehicle at 100% Automotive won’t void your warranty as we adhere to manufacturers specifications.

  • How often should I service my car?

    Every 10,000kms or 6 monthly.

  • Why is it important to regularly service my car?

    If you don’t regularly change your oil, sludge may build up which will prevent the engine from being correctly lubricated. This could result in engine failure and expensive repairs. New oil and filters make for a smoother running engine and a more fuel efficient car. It is a cheap way to maintain your vehicle and save you a lot of headaches in the future.

  • Why do my brakes squeak?

    Brakes squeak for a variety of reasons. It can be as simple as moisture in the brake pads. But continuous squeals or a grinding noise can mean it’s time for new brake pads or shoes. If you hear squealing or grinding have your brakes checked right away. Every time we service your car, we check over your brakes and rotors to make sure they do not need replacing.

  • What do I do if my car is overheating?

    Never remove the radiator cap when engine is hot, it’s dangerous! An overheated engine can take hours to cool down. If coolant has leaked out the engine it could be much hotter than is indicated by the gauge. Park in a safe place, turn car off and give us a call. If you continue to drive it, you can cause major damage to engine.
